The planet Venus turns retrograde about once a year for
approximately six weeks. This period provides us with lessons in the true worth
of people and material things.
Venus retrograde is not a good time to purchase luxury items,
as they may be motivated by impractical considerations. However, it's an excellent
time for buying
antiques and secondhand goods, but only if you're sure you know their value.
It can be a good time to sell items that no one else previously wanted.
But stocks or bonds purchased
while Venus is retrograde are likely to lose their value when Venus turns direct.
Relationships in general can be
difficult at this time, which may lead to feeling unloved and unappreciated. When people are hurt under this transit,
they feel worse and more rejected than they might feel otherwise. Problems and
differences in all kinds of relationships can become glaringly obvious. If you offend
someone at this time, reconciliation may be difficult until after Venus turns direct.
Venus
retrograde is a great time to re-evaluate the people currently in your life to determine
if they provide the emotional support you truly need. However, it doesn't
lend itself to accurately assessing people you meet for the first time. If
they seem too good to be true, they probably are!
